Hope rises for Nnamdi Kanu’s release, return of displaced Abia border community

The Supreme Court, on Friday, okayed the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for terrorism.

The apex court set aside a judgment by the lower court that dismissed the terrorism charges against the IPOB leader.

The Supreme Court held that the court of appeal was wrong that the trial court couldn’t try him because his rights were violated by the prosecution.
