The Iwo Leaders of Thought in its own statement signed by its director of Operations, Prince Moruf Adedapo commended the State Governor for making the right investment in uplifting the state’s infrastructures, describing his recently unveiled infrastructure plan as bold and transformational.

The professional-based group said the infrastructure plan underscores the Governor’s genuine commitment to increasing the pace of economic growth of the state, pointing out that investments in education, health and road networks are catalysts to achieving a prosperous Osun state.

It hailed Governor Adeleke for committing to complete the Iwo-Osogbo road and constructing the first dualized road in Iwo, among other strategic roads that will impact the people of Iwo positively, praising the governor as a man who values the worth of his word.

“Sometimes ago, Governor Adeleke committed to transform five towns in Osun state to cities by uplifting their infrastructures, and we’re seeing the manifestations of that promise,” it said.

“Just as we saw with the first phase of the infrastructure plan, Governor Adeleke is initiating laudable projects that will not only transform towns but also improve the lives of the people. Osun has never had it this good and we want to acknowledge the sustained commitment of Mr. Governor to transforming Osun for the better.

“We like to appreciate Governor Adeleke for including Iwo in his infrastructure plan with the planned construction of the first dualized road in the ancient town with spur to the Oluwo Palace and also the completion of the Iwo-Osogbo road that has been left in a deplorable condition for years. We also commend the Governor for the planned Iwo-Ejigbo road construction and many other road projects already constructed in Iwo by his administration in less than three years.”

The group observed that Governor Adeleke has demonstrated deep interest in the development of Iwo given the level of infrastructural projects in the town, saying that Iwo will not hesitate to join efforts at ensuring that the good work doesn’t stop when the time arises.

“Iwo is known for reciprocating good gestures and when the time arises, we have every confidence in our people to go all out for a Governor who has prioritised the development of the town. The only reward for hard work is more work and our people will want this new experience of development to continue, not go back to the years of stagnated development”, the group noted.
