As part of efforts aimed at revitalizing the educational landscape of Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha, has announced the commencement of an extensive rehabilitation and retrofitting project across designated primary and secondary schools in the constituency.

The effort, according to a statement by Aguocha’s media office, was approved by the state governor, Dr. Alex Otti, and underscores a firm commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy by fostering an enhanced learning environment for students and educators alike.

The statement noted that as part of the progressive educational development strategy, these projects attracted by Hon. Aguocha has been prioritized for immediate commencement and will be executed to the highest standards, with an estimated completion timeline of just six months.

Through the initiative, the targeted schools will undergo extensive upgrades to modernize their infrastructure, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet contemporary educational standards. The rehabilitation work will include structural renovations, provision of essential learning facilities, and the creation of a more conducive academic atmosphere, the statement said.

Additionally, a second phase of this initiative is in the pipeline, reinforcing the commitment of both the Abia State Government and Hon. Obi Aguocha to ensure no community is left behind in the quest for quality education.
