From Stage to Boardroom: Beyoncé Hits Billionaire Status Following Blockbuster Tours and Hits

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially been named a billionaire by Forbes, making her only the fifth musician in history to reach a ten-figure fortune.
The 44-year-old global superstar and entrepreneur now joins an exclusive group that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and her husband Jay-Z, whose net worth Forbes estimates at $2.5 billion.
Forbes credits her milestone to a string of commercial triumphs, beginning with the 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million. “The Renaissance World Tour represented a career-defining moment. The three-hour, career-spanning journey through Beyoncé’s discography became one of 2023’s biggest concert sensations, solidifying her status as a pop culture icon alongside Taylor Swift,” Forbes noted.
Beyoncé continued to expand her empire in 2024 with the release of a country album, Cowboy Carter, which not only explored the black roots of country music but also created new business opportunities. The album, combined with a Christmas NFL halftime performance and the world’s highest-grossing concert tour of 2025, helped her achieve billionaire status.
She also capitalised on her tours through a concert film released exclusively at AMC Theatres, retaining roughly half of its $44 million global box office earnings. The Cowboy Carter Tour generated more than $400 million in ticket sales, alongside $50 million from merchandise, despite some discounted tickets and slower sales in certain markets.
Additional lucrative deals, including a Netflix NFL halftime special and a Levi’s advertising campaign, contributed an estimated $60 million to her fortune.
Beyond her music career, Beyoncé has successfully ventured into business. She launched her whiskey brand Sir Davis in 2024, her haircare line Cécred earlier this year, and her fragrance collection Cé Noir in 2023.
Beyoncé’s list of accolades is unmatched. With 35 Grammy wins, she is the most-awarded artist in the award’s history and is widely recognised as one of the greatest entertainers of all time.
