Ambode appoints members of Governing Council of institutions

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Wednesday approved the appointments of chairmen and members of the Governing Councils for the state’s tertiary institutions.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello in Lagos.

Institutions affected are the Lagos State University (LASU), Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education, Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education and the Lagos State College of Health Technology.

According to the statement, Justice George Oguntade (rtd.) is the chancellor for LASU while Prof. Bayo Ninalowo is the pro-chancellor and chairman of the council.

Alhaja Sekinat Yussuf was also appointed as chairman of the Council of Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education.

The statement also said Prof. Tunde Gbadamosi was appointed as the chairman of the Governing Council of LASPOTECH while Prof. Tunde Samuel would serve as chairman of the Governing Council of the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education.

Similarly, Mrs Tilley-Gyado was appointed as chairman of the Governing Council of the College of Health Technology. (NAN)
