Amb. Sokari Afiesimama, National Publicity Secretary, Coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Group, says the coalition has prepared a proposal on youth empowerment programme to be presented to the incoming government.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, the publicity secretary of the coalition said the proposal was to ackn

Afiesimama said that the coalition had also established offices in all parts of the country to get closer to the people and feed the authorities back on peoples’ expectations.
“Nigerians know that APC has belief in the masses which was the reason why they voted for it and the Coalition of APC Support Group will ensure that the grassroots benefit immensely from the government’s programme,” he said.
He said that the recommendations in the proposal would go a long way in advising the incoming government on the need to create jobs and fight corruption.
According to him, in the proposal, the coalition recommends further strengthening of the electoral process, attention on the down-trodden, employment generation, security and focus on the Niger Delta region development, among others.
Afiesimama further said that the coalition was involved in various activities aimed at sensitising the public, especially the youth, to the desire of the incoming administration to listen to the yearnings of Nigerians.
He observed the Coalition of APC Support Group comprises 150 smaller APC support groups across the country and its activities were sensitive in zones, states, local government areas, wards and units.
