At a meeting in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, early this week the Governor approved a collaboration between the State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy and AL Notions Film Company, owned by Nollywood couple Lateef and Adebimpe Adedimeji, for the film production.

The Governor stated that the film would narrate the war’s story in detail and assured that it would be a world-class production.

According to a statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, the project will be fully funded by the private sector and led by AL Notions Film Company, producers of the Lisabi epic movie.

They will work alongside a team from the Ekiti State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, headed by the Honourable Commissioner, Prof. Rasaki Ojo Bakare, one of Africa’s most accomplished artistic directors.
