Osun PDP chair tasks new excos on party unity, cohesion

The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Hon. Sunday Bisi has tasked the executives and members of the party to be more united and disciplined for them to consolidate on the success which the party has recorded in past elections in the state.

Hon. Bisi who made the appeal during the inauguration of the party executives of ijesa North, Ijesa South and Ife Constituencies, further urged the newly inaugurated executives and members of the party to put party interest above personal interests and be alive to thier responsibilities.

It would be recalled that Osun PDP Chairman has been inaugurating party executives across the nine Federal Constituencies in the State and it was turn of Osun Ijesa North, Ijesa South and Ife Federal Constituency over the weekend.

The Chairman spoke at Ijebu Ijesa , the Headquarter of Ijesa North Federal Constituency, which hosted party leaders in the constituency from the two local governments.

The highlight of the inauguration was the official handing over of the party flag to the newly elected Chairmen from Obokun and Oriade, Hon. Owoeye Adelani and Prince Samuel Adeloye respectively by the Chairman Hon. Bisi.

According to him, ” We want a more united party in Ijesa North in order to consolidate on the success recorded in the past elections, party discipline is my priority as the era of impunity is over in the party, any aggrieved party member should use all the party mechanism in resolving all grievances, any erring members will be discipline according to the constitutional provisions of the party, we want more members to join PDP and it is the responsibility of party Excos and leaders to woo more members to the party and continue on the path of being a formidable united family in Ijesa North.”

Responding on behalf of the two constituency, Obokun PDP party Chairman, Hon. Owoeye Adelani appreciated the state working committee led by Hon. Sunday Bisi for coming for inauguration and promise to work with all party members to build a more united party in Obokun and Oriade.
