Orji Kalu’s wife, Ifeoma dies at 61
Wife of former governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, Ifeoma, has died, aged 61.
Kalu in a statement shared via his social media handles said Mrs. Ifeoma died in the United States of America.
“With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61,” he wrote.
“She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
“A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America.”
He urged the public to remember Mrs Ifeoma and her loved ones in prayers during this difficult period.

This news is really saddening. Ifeoma was a really kind and wonderful human being. I hope she is truly remembered as the kindest First Lady Abia State once had. Her beautiful heart was suppressed and hidden from the world and Abians. May God rest her soul. She needs the peace now . Rest in peace, my friend. Soar with the Ancestors.
