Universal Insurance posts N5.67bn as turnover in Q4 2022

Universal Insurance Plc has published its Q4 results for the period ended 31 December, 2022.

The underwriting firm reported a turnover of N5.67 billion for the 12 months period, up by 53.06% from N3.7 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax increased year on year by 39.36% to N525.32 million from N376.97 million reported the previous year.

Earnings per share of Universal Insurance for the period under review stands at 3 kobo.

At the share price of 20 kobo, the P/E ratio of Universal Insurance stands at 6.09x with earnings yield of 16.42%.
