Pathfinder Team slams APC scribe, Ajibola over allegations against Osun CoS, Akinleye

A sociopolitical group within Osun State chapter of People’s Democratic Party, PDP,  The Pathfinder Team, has slammed the national scribe of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Ajibola Bashir for twisting harmless statement of the Chief of Staff to Osun governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, saying, Ajibola and his party, are jittery of the massive  failure that will befall them come 2026 election in the state.

The team disclosed this through a statement issued and jointly signed by its state coordinator, Hon. Diti Aluko and secretary, Sola Akinleye in Osogbo on Monday.

According to the statement, Dr Ajibola Bashiru and his party, APC, are frustrated about the incredible delivery of projects and services by Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The team alluded that APC wanted to incite the public against the people’s loved governor and his chief of staff, noting that Ajibola is shocked by the transformation going on in Osogbo, his home town, hence the leveling of baseless allegations and the twisting of harmless statements by Hon Kazeem Akinleye.

The pathfinder Team noted that Osun people have seen the difference between the darkness and the light currently shinning in the state now, which the APC and its cohort can not comprehend.

Echoing similar views, the chairman, Board of Trustee, Hon. Lukman Afolabi  advised Dr. Ajibola Bashir and his party to instead of maligning top government leaders who are doing so much to develop Osogbo, be thankful to Governor Adeleke for his extensive developmental scorecard in Osogbo and across the state.

The team passed vote of confidence on Governor Adeleke for  transformative agenda which are yielding tremendously in the state

 

Osun NUP dissociates self from planned protest

Meanwhile, the Osun state chapter of Nigeria Union of Pensioners has dissociated self from a purported plan protest, saying there is nothing like protest but they are thankful to Governor Adeleke for his welfare packages for the pensioners in the state.

This was disclosed through the statement jointly issued and signed by the state chairman and secretary of the union, Prince Ganiyu Salawu and Comrade Dele Aina.

According to the statement, the purported plan protest is been organised by some set of people from the 2011/2012 group which was not known to the state headquarters of the union

Osun NUP noted that the pensioners in the state will instead be grateful to governor Ademola Adeleke for been humane to the state retirees by paying their entitlement as and when due.

They applauded the governor for graciously approved the sum of #25,000.00 for the pensioners in the state, saying it has never happened in the history of pensioners in the state.

They urged all pensioners in the state to be grateful to the governor for all what is doing for the pensioners in the state, not any unnecessary rally.

They advised the members of the team to remain steadfast and resolute, for good things are coming

They also urged the national scribe of APC and his party to go and work assiduously on what they want to use to convince Osun people not to vote for Adeleke in 2026, noting that the PDP led administration under Governor Adeleke has done so well.
