By Sunday Oguntuyi, Osogbo

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has unveiled a seven-point “Prosperity” agenda ahead of the August 15, 2026 election, pledging a brighter future for the state.

Speaking at the unveiling held at Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo, on Friday, Oyebamiji said his vision is anchored on restoring hope, rebuilding trust, and driving sustainable growth, prosperity and shared opportunities for residents.

He outlined key components of the agenda to include poverty alleviation, workers’ welfare, job creation, and responsive, transparent governance. Others are economic expansion, youth and women empowerment, and strengthened social protection systems.

The APC candidate also listed security and safety as priorities, with plans to support security agencies and community-based initiatives, alongside investments in agriculture and rural development.

In addition, Oyebamiji pledged improvements in education, skills development and healthcare delivery, as well as renewed focus on infrastructure, culture and tourism through better road networks, power supply and water systems.

He urged residents of the state to support his ambition at the polls, calling for collective efforts to reposition Osun for growth and development.

“I invite all citizens to join hands with me in rebranding our state by voting APC on August 15, 2026,” he said.

Earlier, the Osun APC Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, described Oyebamiji as a tested administrator and unifier with a strong track record in public and private service.
