The Igbimo Agba of Osun state chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has congratulated the immediate past governor of the state, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola on his appointment as the nation’s minister of Transportation.
The group also congratulated the spokesperson of the 9th senate, Senator Ajibola Bashiru on his election as the national secretary of the APC, nothing that both appointments are a big win for the progressive fold in Osun state.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by its chairman, Engr. Sola Akinwumi and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday.
According to the release, the duo have tremendous track record which qualified them for the positions.
The release read thus; “The APC, Igbimo Agba Osun under its Chairman, Chief Engr Sola Akinwumi happily rejoice with the duo of H/E Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega OYETOLA and Sen. Dr. Surajudeen Ajibola who are both members of this body been recently and respectively appointed as Minister of Transportation and elected National Secretary of APC been celebrated on the 19th day of August, 2023 at Mandella Park, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria”
