Tinubu's priority is to make Nigeria's economy viable - Ajibola

Senator Ajibola Bashir, the national secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, has implored Nigerians to be patient with president Bola Tinubu as his priority is to see the nation’s economy become viable.

He said the deregulation of petroleum sector will benefit all and sundry in due course.

Ajibola stated this in Osogbo over the weekend during a reception organised for him by Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu federal constituency of APC in Osun state.

According to him, Nigerian should bear with the president for a while as the process of reviving economy of a nation takes gradual process.

“Deregulation of the petroleum sector I believe it is a matter of time. The prices will stabilize, the Nigerian people would be able to get the benefits accruable from the savings which can now be used to develop our economy,” he said.

” Palliative is a temporary measure and we believe that this is a federation, the state governments should be in the position to deliver those palliatives to the people.”

Ajibola who was highly elated by the warm reception accorded him, thanked the party faithful for standing by the progressive family.

He urged the party members in the state to go to their various wards and begin to foster unity that will earn the party victory in the future elections .

Speaking on behalf of all the south west party chairmen, Ondo state APC party chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimeyin described the party national secretary as a man that is full of pedigree who has the capacity to lead the party.

He urged the party members in Osun to rally support the national scribe of the party and other stakeholders to be able to recapture Osun because Osun is always a progressives state.
