OPU to organise economic, political summit for Otan Ile indigenes

The Otan Ile Progressive Union, OPU, the Umbrella body of Indigenes of Otan Ile in Obokun local government of Osun state , will on Saturday, 30th March, 2024 organise an economic and political summit to boost economic and political consciousness of the Indigenes of the ancient town.

This was contained in a release issued and signed by the union President, Hon. Bello Saliu Bamidele and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.

According to the release, the theme of the summit is, “Toward Economic Empowerment and Political Emancipation of our People.”

Hon. Bello noted that the event will provide opportunity for the people to interact with each other and pave way for political stability and economic viability of the town.

Venue of the program according to the release is the townhall of the town and time is 10 am in the morning.

The release urged all Indigenes of the town both home and abroad to be present as a matter of importance, saying the program will availed to all and sundry to contribute to the intellectual debate that will enhance development to the town.
