MTN Nigeria condemns xenophobia

MTN Nigeria has condemned attacks on Nigerians and other foreigners in South Africa.  
The Chief Executive Officer of the South African owned telecom giant, Ferdi Moolman in a statement released on Tuesday, noted that the company was against
xenophobia, hate and prejudice, noting that everyone has the right to a world where their rights and freedoms are respected. 
He mentioned that individuals have the right to live and earn a living freely, safely and protected by the law.
There has been
MTN Nigeria condemns xenophobia attack on foreigners by South Africans as the argued that their economy was being taken over by other Africans.
“We seek to connect people, bring people together and provide a platform for everyone’s voice to be heard. We are against all forms of bigotry and discrimination; they should have no place in society,” Moolman explained.
There were retaliatory attacks on some South African companies in some parts of Nigeria.
