JUST IN: Kogi Assembly suspends nine members, five council chairmen

The Kogi State House of Assembly has suspended nine of its members and five Local government council chairmen.

Those suspended are the majority leader of the House, Muhammed Bajeh and the Lokoja council chairman, Muhammed Dan-Asebe, among others.

They were accused of misappropriation of funds, but the suspension had also been linked to anti-party activities in the last Saturday House of Assembly elections.
