Eid-fitr: Osun hunters congratulate Muslims, harp on collective efforts in combating crime

As Muslim Ummah celebrate the end of ramadan 1444AH, Osun state chapter of Hunters Group of Nigeria, have congratulated Islamic faithful in the state for the successful completion of the compulsory 30 days fasting and prayer.

The group in a release issued and signed by its state Commandant, Mr. Soladoye Nureni, urged the muslim Ummah to adhere to the lesson taught during the holy month.

Nureni, enjoined people of the state to be vigilant during the festive period amid security challenges facing the state.

He averred that hunters group with the support of other security agencies in the state will leave no stone unturned in combating criminal activities during and after Idel-Fitri festival in the state.

The state Commandant of hunters group warned hoodlums to flee Osun, adding that his group is battle ready in combating any lawlessness.

He used the medium calling on residents of the state to demonstrate their complete support to the hunters group and all the security agencies by providing necessary information that can be of help to them, mainly about strange happenings in their various community.

“I am happy to inform residents of the state that we have our office in all the local government area including all the Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the state for them to lodge any complaint.

“Our trained officers are on ground daily to receive any complaint and respond to them accordingly while am happy to say that, we are working in collaboration with the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force and other security personnel in the state,” Nureni added.

He urged the Islamic faithful to pray for sustainability of democracy in the state, most essentially, the success of the administration of governor Ademola Adeleke.
