Buhari re-appoints Ihekweazu DG, Centre for Disease Control

President Muhammadu Buhari has re-appointed Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu as Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The NCDC announcement the re-appointment in a statement posted on its twitter page on Monday.

“We are proud to announce that our Director General, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has been re-appointed into office by President Muhammadu Buhari,” the statement read.

“The NCDC remains committed to protecting the health of Nigerians, under the leadership of Dr Ihekweazu.”
