50th birthday: Akinleye hails Lukman Afolabi, lauds grassroots impact

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, has congratulated the Chairman of Ede South Local Government, Hon. Lukman Afolabi (popularly known as Abere Soose), on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

In a congratulatory message to mark the golden jubilee, Akinleye described Afolabi as a dependable and committed public servant whose life at 50 reflects years of purposeful service, resilience and unwavering dedication to the development of Ede South Local Government.

Turning 50 is a remarkable milestone, and yours stands as a testament to a life of purpose, service, resilience and commitment to the people,” Akinleye said.

He noted that Afolabi’s journey in public service has been defined by loyalty, discipline and a strong passion for grassroots development, adding that his leadership style has earned him the trust and admiration of party faithful and residents of the local government.

“As Chairman, you have consistently demonstrated credibility, accessibility and a deep understanding of people-oriented governance, which has endeared you to the people of Ede South,” he added.

Akinleye further described the celebrant as a unifying figure whose maturity, wisdom and experience at 50 have positioned him as a pillar of strength and hope for the continued progress of the council area.

“At 50, you embody maturity, wisdom and experience – qualities essential for effective and inclusive administration. Your ability to unite, inspire and serve across divides has placed you as a strong force for development in Ede South,” he said.

He prayed that Almighty Allah grant Afolabi long life, good health, renewed strength and greater wisdom, wishing him more years of fulfillment, success and service to humanity.
