Ubosi is new Speaker of Enugu Assembly

Hon. Uchenna Ubosi, representing Enugu East Urban Constituency, has been elected as the Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly.

He was elected after the inauguration of the assembly on Monday by the State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Though the governor was not physically present at the inauguration, his proclamation statement was read by the Clerk of the House, Mr. Christopher Chukwurah, who also read the governor’s goodwill message to the lawmakers.
