Saudi Arabia okays Aminu Dantata’s burial in Madina

The Saudi Arabian government has given approval for the conveying of the body of late prominent business man and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madina for his final rites.
Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the Private Principal Secretary to the late Dantata, made this known in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulilah Alhamdulillah, I have received approval to take Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina, he will be buried tomorrow morning by the grace of Allah,” the post read.
It could be recalled that Dantata died in the early hours of Saturday at a hospital in Abu Dhabi after a brief illness.
He was 94.
The family had earlier announced that the late industrialist would be buried in Madina next to his wife, Rabi’a Dantata, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.
On Saturday, a special Islamic funeral prayer, Salatul Ga’ib, was held in Kano in honour of the late business magnate.
The prayer session was attended by a large number of mourners, including prominent figures such as the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin.
