Osun L.G.S.C Boss, Adedeji Charges L.G Staff To Support Oyetola’s Transformation Agenda

Local Government workers in Osun State have been admonished to show commitment to their job responsibilities that will be commensurate with the good gesture demonstrated by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola through prompt payment of salary and other emoluments.

Chairman of the state’s Local Government Service Commission, Elder Tunde Adedeji gave the admonition during visitation tours to Ifedayo Local Government Area, Oke Ila, Ila Local Government Area, Ila Orangun, Ila Central Local Council Development Area, Mogbon, and Odo-Otin Noth Local Council Development Area, Oyan.

Elder Adedeji while speaking with local government staff at each of the council areas, maintained that the visitation is not to witch-hunt anyone but to gear officers up to duty.

He enjoined them to obtain Permanent Voters Card in order to sustain the unfolding transformational developments being witnessed across the State of Osun under the leadership of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

In his own remarks, the Coordinating Director of the Local Government Service Commission, Prince Lekan Babalola encouraged the workers to continue observing COVID-19 protocols and ensure they take advantage of COVID-19 vaccine being currently administered in health facilities across the state.

In their respective speeches, the Vice Chairman Ifedayo Local Government Area, Hon. Adedayo Adediran, the Chairman of Ila Local Government Area, Hon. Olumide Babatunde, Ila Central Local Council Development Area, Hon. Adewole Kolawole and Chairman Odo Otin North Local Council Development Area, Hon. Iyiola Adekeye, appreciated the visit of the team from Local Government Service Commission, led by Elder Tunde Adedeji and expressed confidence on workers’ unwavering commitment towards sustaining the good governance under the leadership of Governor Oyetola.
