Nigerian Communication Minister charges Postal Service to improve revenue generation

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami has tasked the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) to improve its revenue by delivering effective and efficient services to Nigerians.

He stated this when he received the Management of NIPOST who there were to brief him on progress made in implementation of the short term performance target set for the postal service.

The minister also told NIPOST management to shun corrupt practices, block leakages and above all its branding, stressing that majority of Nigerians have a bad perception about the organization.

Meanwhile, the Postmaster General of NIPOST, Barrister Adebisi Adegbuyi had earlier listed the challenges facing the organization and called for the swift intervention.
