Kazeem Akinleye at Another Milestone: A Portrait of Calm, Character and Commitment

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners… And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season.” – Psalm 1:1, 3
Every 10th of October marks a special day in the life of a man whose calm disposition, uncommon intellect, and quiet strength have continued to shape the course of governance and human development in Osun State – Alhaji Kazeem Kolapo Akinleye, Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Today, Friday, October 10, 2025, family, friends, associates, and admirers celebrate a man of rare qualities – a scholar, strategist, and philanthropist whose life of service and humility has touched countless lives within and beyond Osun.
Alhaji Akinleye is widely admired for his composure, courage, and clarity of purpose. Despite operating largely behind the scenes, his influence is unmistakable. His intellect, discretion, and problem-solving skills have earned him the reputation of being the “Engine Room” of the Adeleke administration, a role he executes with quiet efficiency and enviable dedication.
Great in vision, Alhaji Akinleye’s calm demeanour conceals a formidable mind and a heart fully committed to public good. Through diligence and sound judgment, he has helped stabilise the machinery of governance in Osun State, ensuring that the governor’s vision for a prosperous, people-oriented state translates into reality.
A devoted public servant and man of impeccable integrity, Akinleye embodies the values of humility, loyalty, and hard work. His approach to leadership is pragmatic and people-focused; he listens more than he speaks and acts more than he promises.
His gentle spirit, deep spirituality, and generosity have endeared him to many. Colleagues and subordinates describe him as a mentor and bridge-builder, one who uplifts others and finds fulfilment in helping people grow.
As he celebrates another year of grace, I join thousands of well-wishers in thanking God for his life of impact and purpose. May the Almighty grant him greater wisdom, health, and strength to continue his good works and to keep inspiring those who look up to him.
Happy birthday, Alhaji Kazeem Kolapo Akinleye – calm, connected, and consistently committed to excellence.
