Kenya to reintroduce some unpopular tax measures to raise $1.2bn

The Supreme Court of Kenya, on Monday, upheld the victory of William Ruto, the country’s vice president, in last month’s presidential election.

The country’s chief justice, Martha Koome who delivered the unanimous decision of the court, dismissed the petition of Raila Odinga, the runners-up in the election.
