First Phase of Muhammadu Buhari Estate to Be Commissioned Soon – OPIC MD

The first phase of the Muhammadu Buhari (MB) Estate in Abeokuta is nearing completion and will be commissioned soon, the Managing Director of the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), Arc. Abiodun Fari-Arole, has revealed.

Arc. Fari-Arole made the disclosure during an inspection tour of the estate, noting that the initial phase comprises 100 housing units across three typologies: two types of semi-detached houses and one four-bedroom fully detached unit with an attached boys’ quarter.

He explained that the estate, conceived by the present administration, aims to provide top-quality housing while improving ease of doing business for residents and investors in Ogun State.

“The Muhammadu Buhari Estate is the first of its kind in the State. It will not only address housing needs but also boost the local economy and enhance the value of properties within and around the estate,” Arc. Fari-Arole said.

Prince Faroouq Adenugba, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, OPIC, and Special Projects, highlighted that the estate was built with state-of-the-art facilities, describing it as a key vehicle for actualising the vision of an industrialised Ogun State.

Mr. Dehinde Boye, Director of Marketing and Business Development at OPIC, added that the houses are open for purchase to all residents, Nigerians abroad, and investors. Interested buyers are advised to visit OPIC’s marketing department for further enquiries.
