Dr. A.T. Adepoju, FCIB, the Rector of Distinct Polytechnic, Ekosin, says the institution is in to offer the best for the people of the state and Nigeria at large
He stated this while exchanging views with the news men in Osogbo on what the institution has achieved for the citizens of the state.
According to him, Distinct Polytechnic is readily prepared to produce best students in all facets of learning based on the preparation of all the faculties and members
He noted that graduands of the institution have excelled in different fields of their studies and have represented the institution well anywhere they found themselves.
He urged the prospective candidates who wish to enrol with the school in different field of studies to hurry up and obtain their form for National Diploma (ND).
“Interested candidates for National Diploma (ND) Programmes are hereby invited into 2-year full time and part time programmes at Distinct Polytechnic, Ekosin.”
Programmes available, according to the Rector, are: Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Science Laboratory Technology and Statistics
Admission requirements include: minimum Credit passes in five subjects obtained at maximum of two sittings in (1) The West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations; (ii) The National Examination Council Examinations, and (i) The General Certificate of Education (“O” Level), or (iv) Any such equivalents to the above, e.g. NABTEB, NTC, NBC etc, at maximum of two sittings (b) The credit passes should compulsorily include English Language and Mathematics and any other three relevant subjects related to the students fields of study. Candidates awaiting result can also apply (d) JAMB cut-off mark is 120 At Distinct Polytechnic, Ekosin, For the above Programmes.
