Cutix Plc names Uchechukwu Igbokwe acting CEO after Oduonye’s exit

The Board of Directors of Cutix Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Uchechukwu Igbokwe as Acting Chief Executive Officer, following the resignation of the company’s former CEO, Ijeoma Oduonye.
According to a notice to the Nigerian Exchange and the investing public, Oduonye stepped down from her role effective March 5, 2026, paving the way for Igbokwe to assume leadership on an interim basis pending the appointment of a substantive CEO.
Until her elevation, Igbokwe served as Assistant General Manager and Head of Strategy and Planning in the Office of the CEO. She brings decades of experience in corporate management, with strong expertise spanning planning, administration, and organisational development.
A long-serving staff member, Igbokwe joined Cutix Plc in 1992 and has held several key positions across the company, including leadership roles in Enterprise Assurance, Commercial, Finance, Administration, Human Resources, and the Anuka Plant. Her broad cross-functional exposure has been credited with enhancing operational efficiency and overall corporate performance.
She holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Oko and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam. She is also a Certified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems and an Associate of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
In addition, Igbokwe has participated in several executive training programmes, including courses at Lagos Business School covering supply chain management, marketing, and interpersonal skills. She also attended a management development programme organised by Tom Associates.
With her extensive experience and professional background, the company expressed confidence in her ability to provide steady leadership and drive strategic objectives during the transition period.
