Commuters stranded in Lagos as drivers protest alleged extortion by MC Oluomo-led task force

Many residents of Lagos could not get to their work places on Monday, as they were stranded at various bus stops and motor parks as a result of the protest held by commercial drivers in the state.

The commercial drivers embarked on the strike over the alleged extortion imposed on its members by the Musiliu Akinsanya, alias MC Oluomo-led Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and the state’s Task Force.

The protests are ongoing Alakuko, Mangoro bus stop, among other areas in Lagos State amid security presence.
