Breaking: Martins Azubuike emerges Abia Speaker

Breaking: Hon. Martins Azubuike, representing Isiala Ngwa North Constituency of the ruling People’s Democratic Party has emerged Speaker of the sixth session of the Abia State House of Assembly.

He was elected unopposed while election is still in progress for the Deputy Speakerhip

Member representing Umunneochi Constituency, Hon. Ikedi Ezekwesiri, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, and a debutant, Chief Cosmos Ndukwe, representing Bende North ( PDP) are the contenders for the deputy speaker.
