In his acceptance speech, Adeyemo pledged to run an inclusive administration that would accommodate all tendencies within the party. He promised to prioritise unity, discipline and grassroots mobilisation.

He assured members that the new executive would reposition the APC as a formidable political force in the state ahead of future elections.

Also returned at the congress was Hon. Wasiu Olawale Sadare, who retained his position as Publicity Secretary. Dr Taofeek Lamidi emerged as Deputy Chairman, while Barr. Fatai Adesina was elected Secretary. Hon. Lukman Owonikoko was named Assistant Secretary, alongside other executive members.
