Razak Adedoyin resumes as independent non-executive director at Cadbury Nigeria

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Dr Rasaq Adedoyin Salami as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective March 26, 2026.

The company disclosed that the appointment of Salami, an economist with more than three decades of experience spanning academia, consulting, public policy and corporate governance, is expected to strengthen the board’s strategic capacity.

Salami previously served as Chief Economic Adviser to former President Muhammadu Buhari and also chaired the Presidential Economic Advisory Council.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of KAINOS Edge Consulting Ltd.

According to the company, his appointment will bring additional expertise to the board, particularly in areas such as macroeconomic policy, financial sector reforms and market systems development, which are critical to the operating environment of Nigeria’s consumer goods sector.
