Osco-Health, Ilesa to host ASUP national executives Tuesday

The Osun State College of Health Technology (OSCO-HEALTH), Ilesa, is set to host the National Executive Council (Exco) of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) tomorrow, Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the College Hall.

The announcement was made in a joint statement by the College ASUP Chairman, Comrade Ayo Ogungbe, and the Assistant General Secretary, Comrade J. Ojesola.

The visit will feature a congress, an orientation programme, and a headcount exercise for all members of the OSCO-HEALTH, Ilesa branch. These activities are aimed at official documentation and supporting union operations.

Comrade Ogungbe urged all members to attend promptly and actively participate, describing the visit as a landmark event for the College branch.

He said, “I urge all members to come out in large numbers to welcome the national executives of our Union. The exercises they will carry out are crucial to our Union, and we must all be present to witness and participate fully. Let us converge at the College Hall as early as possible to receive our visitors.”

The statement emphasized that the orientation and headcount are key activities for ensuring proper records and smooth union administration.
