Just in case you have not heard, some of Nigeria’s best professionals, courtesy of society lady, Mo Abudu and her EbonyLife television platform, will this weekend engage the outgoing chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor AttahiruJega, in a live conversation.
The august conversation which will be anchored by the widely-travelled and respected broadcaster and influential businesswoman, tagged ”Afternoon Tea with Professor AttahiruJega” is designed to drill the man who, against all odds, presided over the success of yet another round of elections in the country.
Professor Jega, according to a statement from the organizers, will talk exclusively to Nigerians in his first interview since his retirement as the boss of the commission.
The ‘by invitation only’ event will, however, afford Nigerian viewers the opportunity to hear it all from the horse’s mouth, Professor Jega, who is easily remembered for ”his full and unrivalled commitment to free and fair elections during the just-concluded 2015 general elections,” said the organizers.
”As Mo Abudu anchors, invited guests will be encouraged to come with on-out-of-the-box, beyond-the-usual question for the respected Professor”, the statement further provided.
Nigerians are, therefore, called upon to participate actively in the conversation by hooking up to EbonyLife TV at noon on Saturday.
