The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day warning strike over the impact of petrol subsidy removal on the masses.

NLC President, Joe Ajaero, disclosed this on Friday during a press conference at the Labour House, Abuja,

According to Ajaero, the two-day warning strike is in protest against the Federal Government for failing to address the challenges caused by the removal of fuel subsidy.

The NLC accused the Federal Government of going back on the negotiations and failing to implement some of the resolutions from previous meetings that were held.

The strike is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 5.
