Business Hallmark Newspaper has named Mrs. Folake Ani-Mumuney, Global Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, FBN Holdings as the recipient of its coveted Professional Excellence in Corporate and Marketing Communication Award for year 2019.
The honour is part of the Newspaper’s People of the Year Award, a yearly event organised by it to celebrate outstanding individuals and institutions who have affected national development in productive ways.
A statement by the Chairman, Business Hallmark Advisory Board, Prof. George Obiozor and member of the Board, Akogun Tola Adeniyi said Mrs. Ani-Mumuney, who is also president of Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), was chosen for the honour in recognition of her enviable accomplishments towards the “growth of the advertising and marketing industry in the country and beyond.”
The board described her as a woman of class who continued to “break new grounds in her chosen profession” and a “role model to many aspiring young women and men.”
The award, according to the Board, “will be presented at a ceremony scheduled for Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.”
The ceremony will also witness presentation of awards to Chief Allen Onyema, CEO of Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace which was named Company of the Year; Chief Willie Obiano, Anambra State governor who emerged Man of the Year, as well as Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission who was chosen as Public Servant of the Year, among others.
Previous winners of the Hallmark Award include former Central Bank governor, now Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II; former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko; Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele and a host of other well-meaning Nigerians.
