Driver pulling a police officer in viral video arrested

Billy King Tokunbo, a man caught pulling a police officer by the waist in Lagos has been arrested.

Tokunbo was captured in a now viral video pulling the police officer after he was stopped for driving against traffic.

Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos police spokesman announced his arrest in a tweet on Friday.

“The suspect, Billy King Tokunbo, who drove against traffic, was immediately arrested,” he said.

“His Toyota Corolla car with registration number LSR 430 FT was equally impounded immediately.

“He is to be arraigned for his traffic offence and assault on a police officer. Updates to follow.”
