All Progressive Congress, APC, retain its control of Osun State House of Assembly, as the party claimed 24 seats in Saturday’s House of Assembly poll out of 26 available.

The party, however, lost two seats within Ile-Ife metropolis, losing in Ife Central state constituency and Ife East to candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, showed that in Irewole/Isokan state constituency, APC got 20,176, while PDP got 6, 248 votes.

In Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency, APC got 14,631 votes, while PDP secured 6,181 votes; Ifelodun state constituency, APC, 12,292 votes, PDP 3,367 votes; Ila state constituency, APC 11,657, PDP, 3,847; Ifedayo state constituency, APC 3,820, PDP 1,366; Irepodun/ Orolu state constituency, APC 18,200, PDP, 8,378; Odo Otin state constituency, APC 11,549, PDP 7,054.
