Former FUTA VC abducted in Akure

Prof. Albert Adeoye Ilemobade,one time Vice –Chancellor of the University of Technology Akure,(FUTA) has been kidnapped.

A source said he was kidnapped at his Ijapo residence in Akure with his guard,adding that the maid discovered that the former VC was not in the house.The abductors were said to have left in his car and abandoned it on IJARE Road in Ifedore Local Government Area

Nothing has been heard from the kidnappers of the man who reigned as VC between 1987 and 1995 but Police spokes person Wole Ogbodo said security operatives have begun investigation.
