Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the February 25 election has filed a petition at the presidential election petition tribunal challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the election.

Dr Yunusa Tanko, Chief Spokesperson of Labour Party presidential campaign council disclosed this in a tweet on Monday.

“It is official the Labor Party Presidential candidate Peter OBI has filed his petition to the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja,” he wrote. “The process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has started.”
