Osun 2022: Group reitrates support for Oyetola’s second term bid

A socio -political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, Opomulero, has reitrated its committment towards ensuring the actualisation of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s second term in office, just as they enjoined people of the state to rally support for the progressive minded governor.

The group’s spokesperson, Oluomo Sunday Akere, who stated this while speaking with the newsmen shortly after their meeting with the state party chairman, Prince Gboyega Famoodun assured that the group was committed to strengthening the party, ensuring unity and oneness amongst members and supporting the leadership in its drive for good governance and delivery of dividend of democracy in the state.

The group enjoined all and sundry to sheathe the sword and support the second term bid of Governor Oyetola so that the legacy of good governance and delivery of dividend of democracy witnessed in the last ten years can continue.

The group explained that it is only a strong and united party that can provide the platform for any future aspiration of any member, hence, pledged its readiness to work in the coming months and make both party leadership under Prince Adegboyega Famodun and the victory of Gov. Oyetola in the 2022 gubernatorial election a foregone conclusion.

Responding, the State APC Chairman, Prince Adegboyega Famodun, expressed delight with the coming to the forefront of notable figures that have made their marks in one area of governance or the other.

He said the task ahead though enormous, the contribution of each and every one of us will lessen the burden and make achieving success easy.
