Naira weakens 0.01% to $/N362.30 at investors’ forex window
Naira depreciated further 0.01 per cent at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) foreign exchange window, exchanging N362.30 against the Dollar on Wednesday.
It opened at I&E FX window at N362.30, traded high at N363.50 and eventually closed at N362.64, representing 0.01% depreciation against yesterday’s position.
Investors exchanged a total of $176.28 million was transacted through the I&E window.
The Naira at the official rate remained flat at N307.00/$1 as against yesterday’s position.
At the Interbank, the Naira/USD rate remained unchanged at N306.95/$ (spot) and N358.51/$ (SMIS).
At the parallel market segment, the cash and transfer rates both remained unchanged to close N358.00/$ and N362.50/$ respectively
