The Naira exchange rate remained flat across the three foreign exchange windows in the country on Tuesday.

At the official window, the local currency remain unchanged to closed at N307.00/$1, against yesterday’s position.
The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N360.16, traded high at N361.50 and eventually closed at N360.63 to remain unchanged against yesterday’s closing position.

A total of $114.83 million was transacted through the I&E window.

The Dollar was sold for N360 at the parallel market amidst speculations that the Central Bank of Nigeria may soon loosen the noose on the Naira at the official forex window.
