Elijah Chinonso Ejike born February 13, 2005 is a Nigerian football player who is currently playing for Great Success Football Academy.

Often considered by many local observers as one of the best young talents in the country, the young footballer spent two seasons at Heartland Feeders FC, Owerri.

While playing at Heartland Feeders, he commanded a first team shirt throughout his spell and won the young player of the year award.

Only 18, Ejike has become the talk of many football enthusiasts in Nigeria, thanks to his incredible skills that have prompted a host of professional footballers and coaches to praise his talent and signal a very promising future.

Born and raised in Lagos, one of the biggest commercial cities in Africa, Ejike has been on the ascendancy due to his standout performances.

Despite his age, he already plays like someone who has been in the business for many years. Apart from his pace and physicality which makes him a defender’s nightmare, just like Kylian Mbappe, he knows when to slow down and pass the ball. According to his teammates and trainers, “he is always happy to take on defenders.”

He is a complete player replete with the ability to change games, through his goal scoring ability, consistency, good vision, agility, stamina and positioning.

Ejike is a highly promising player and has been dubbed the next Victor Osimhen. ‘Osimhen’ as he is fondly called by teammates has always commanded a first team shirt wherever he has played. He is so good up front that he excels in any attacking position.

The Imo State indigene has caught the eye of many and has led top Nigerian coaches to liken him to several prominent forwards for his prowess in front of goal. Defenders prefer to have him on their team rather than face him, as he is a constant threat in the 18-yard box.

Last year, as a result of his remarkable performance with Heartland Feeders FC, 360 Football Academy noticed him and signed him. He continued his award streak with his new club, as he bagged ‘’the best dedicated player of the year.’’

He stands at 6.2 cm tall and weighs 60kg. He is good on both feet but has a very strong right foot. He is dogged, mobile, has great positioning, and loves to take on defenders.

He has been tipped for greater heights beyond the shores of Nigeria once he is given the chance.
