Diddy charged with forcing three women into commercial sex acts

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been slammed with additional charges of sexual abuse and racketeering, as revealed in an amended indictment in the ongoing criminal case.

On Thursday, a revised indictment filed in the Southern District of New York accused Diddy of forcing three women into commercial sex acts as part of his alleged sex trafficking enterprise.

Diddy is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution after he was arrested in September 2024.

The revised indictment reads: “Combs and other members and associates of the Combs Enterprise wielded the power and prestige of Combs’ role at the Combs business to intimidate, threaten, and lure female victims into Combs’ orbit, often under the pretense of a romantic relationship.”

In the original indictment filed on September 12, 2024, prosecutors alleged that Diddy turned his “multi-faceted business empire” into a “criminal enterprise”.

The music mogul and his associates allegedly engaged in kidnapping, arson and physical violence, sex trafficking and forced labour, among other crimes.

Thursday’s revised indictment accuses Diddy of using “force, threats of force, and coercion” to compel his alleged victims, which include three unidentified women, to “engage in commercial sex acts.”

Diddy allegedly compensated the victims with “monetary payments, career opportunities, and payment of rent and housing expenses.”

Speaking to USA TODAY, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo criticised the amended indictment, pointing out that it “contains no new offences”.

“The prosecution’s theory remains flawed. The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all but were prostitutes.

“Mr Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial,” he said.
