Anyi Chuks foundation to commission 130 houses built for indigent, others in Ebonyi in January

The Ebele and Anyi Chuks Foundation, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) founded by Lagos based businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Odii says it will in the first week of January 2022, commission 130 houses built for indigent families, traditional institutions, schools, churches and the clergy in Ebonyi State, home state the founder.

The foundation, which has so far built over 100 houses for the poor in the state, said it is set to commission another round of houses as part of its efforts towards bringing succor to the less privileged in the state.

Comrade Okorie C. Okorie, Executive Secretary of the foundation who disclosed this in a statement sent to our correspondent on Sunday, said serious work is ongoing at all projects sites of the foundation, and that the completed houses, which he said is costing the foundation billions of naira, will be commissioned during the Christmas period.

Okorie said the housing schemes are located in Onicha, Ohaozara, Ikwo, Ezza South and Izzi local government areas of Ebonyi, while others are located in some primary and secondary schools spread across the state.

He noted further that, “eight houses already completed are located in various churches across the state. Just recently the foundation as well embarked on construction of community rural roads in order to better the lives of the rural masses”

Okorie said the foundation, early next year, in addition to the houses, “shall be unveiling other life touching and changing programmes as our president and founder, Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii FHL, is tireless in changing the narratives of Ndi Ebonyi, Nigeria and the globe at large, positively.”
