George Obiozor emerges Ohanaeze president

Former Nigerian ambassador to the United States, Prof. George Obiozor, has emerged President-general of the apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Obiozor emerged in an election held at Dan Anyim stadium in Owerri, the Imo state capital, on Sunday.

He replaces Dr. Nnia Nwodo whose tenure five-year tenure expired today.
