Naira gains 0.02% against Dollar to N362.83 in Investors’ forex window

The Naira appreciated 0.02 per cent against the Dollar to closed N362.83 at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window on Wednesday.

It opened at N362.63, traded high at N364.00 and eventually closed at N362.83 representing a 0.02 per cent appreciation as against yesterday’s closing position.

A total of $169.75 million was transacted through the I&E window, while market turnover rose 78 per cent to $302 million, on the back of some offshore demand at the CBN OMO auction.
At the interbank, the Naira/USD rate remained unchanged at
N360.90/$ (Spot) and N357.68/$ (SMIS).

And tt the parallel market, the cash and transfer rates remained
stable at N357.50/$ and N362.00/$ respectively.
