Tribunal judgement extremely disappointing – Obaze

People’s Democratic Party chieftain and the party’s candidate in the 2017 Anambra State governorship election, Mr. Henry Oseloka Obaze, has described as disappointing, the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal which yesterday, upheld the election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 presidential polls.
Obaze in a statement, Thursday, noted that the judgment was a missed opportunity right the wrongs of the nation, while expressing confidence that the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi, will seek and get justice at the Supreme Court.
“Yesterday was a sad day for our country, Nigeria. This is a missed opportunity to right the ills of this nation,” he said.
“Nigerians should be extremely disappointed with the ruling of the PEPT. This judgement runs against the weight of the evidence presented. Of course, the Tribunal, has spoken and being law abiding, we respect their prerogative opinion, but do not accept it.
